Scout Pottery Badge Workshop
While earning their Pottery Badge at That Art Place, Scouts from across Central Texas will sculpt and glaze a clay project, learn about the life cycle of clay and tour the kiln room.
Projects will be left at That Art Place for drying time and kiln firings, a total of about three weeks. Scout leaders will be notified when all projects are ready for pick up.
Our Girl Scout Pottery Badge Workshop Includes:
One hour workshop at That Art Place in Belton, Texas
Instructor led clay project
All supplies, tools, glazes, and kiln firings
Visual lesson on the clay’s journey from start to finish
Tour of the kiln room
Set up & clean up
Workshop Fee: $18 per Scout
